I am interested in placing my horses with the right person. I have
raised, loved and handled all these kids since I watched them enter
the world. Merlin is the only one that was too big for me to feel
comfortable starting. He has developed so much potential that I
have kept him with his trainer, to maximize his possibilities.
Please email Barbara at bendzunasglass@earthlink.net for current
prices.

MerlinKeepsHisCool SOLD
In training for hunter
with Abby Sjoberg, in Ila, Georgia Merlinkeepshiscool - 2000 17.0h
bay gelding
by Mr. Wizard ( Hol ) out of a Tb mare.
He is registered with
the AWR. He also has his certificate of registration with the American
Holsteiner Assoc., which qualifies him to be enrolled in their awards
program.
This gelding was started last year with a dressage trainer and is
now with Abby heading towards a career in the hunters. He is a good,
solid mover with a fabulous jump. He has a quiet willing attitude
and likes to please. He should make a great hunter or equitation
horse. He is suitable for an amateur or a professional. He is just
beginning his show career and is ready to move on.
The 2004 Dressage at Devon’s all around horse award went to
Ocita, who shares Merano as a grand-sire.

Aolfe
Aolfe is going nicely
under saddle. Good solid walk, trot, .
canter. Learning her
lateral movements. She does a lot of walking over objects, and a
couple time a ride of lunge over cavalettes to get her ready for
fences next year.
We bred this mare when we were planning to start a line of compact
horses especially designed for women and children looking for a
quality mount. I had planned to keep her, and use her for a foundation
mare. The addition of the Connemara blood has strengthened her and
given her a lovely natural bascule when she jumps.
We refer to her as Pig,
because she wants more pats, more loving and more riding than anyone
else.
Aolfe has had 6 months
professional training. She has walk, trot, canter, beginning lateral
work. She has gone to several horse shows, and received a score of
79.5 in Sport Horse In Hand at the GAHA Show in Conyers as a yearling.
She is taken on trail at least once a week. Crosses water, bridges,
roads. She trailers, washes, and is good with the farrier. She is
a good companion, preferring to be with people to being with other
horses

Seraphima
Sera is the most beautiful
horse on the farm. People coming down the drive for any reason stop
and watch her. She has a breath taking trot with great knee and
hock action.
She is heavy Crabbet, with a Polish influence. Her Polish line is
one known for fire and beauty. He dam, Winsome Wonder is at our
farm and still, at 20, still does a levade or capriole in the pasture.
Sera will not go under saddle until late this year. She has had
lots of ponying and ground work. She also trailers, and is used
to all equipment and will probably be ridden in a halter when started
under saddle

Sassyfrass SOLD
Sassy is full sister to Merlinkeepshiscool. She is going to be about
16’2” and so easy to train that I will start her here.
She has had everything but the saddle, and so far is making my other
horses look stupid, or uncooperative. She gets everything easily,
with very little resistance.
She is bred to do anything. Holsteiners dominate the jump competitions,
and the TB influence has made her more responsive and soft.

Niko SOLD
"Niko" was
bought last Spring to be a replacement for my husband's endurance
horse. Paul has decided on a different horse.
Niko has such nice movement that we thought he might be a better
match for someone looking for a classy jumper.
He is 15h1" and growing. He is very green, doing a lot of ring
and trails, trotting over crossrails andcalalettis. He is starting
to drop nicely into the bit and has become very balanced under saddle.
He has had 3 months intensive training, has been ridden on trail
for 6 months before that.
Trailers, washes, great ground manners.
He is extreamely affectionate. Would be a great horse for an intermediate
to advanced young rider now, or great size and personality for a
woman.
I find him the perfect size for me, at 5'6".
