Paul and Barbara cleared their first pasture for a pony for Elizabeth,
their daughter. Several years later, Elizabeth got an Arab,
TaTicToc, and the pasture was enlarged.
The idea of the farm began with the gift of an Arabian, Winsome
Wonder, to Barbara from Paul. They added a 3rd horse, TaTonikas,
later the same year.
Paul, who had never been around horses, was wooed and won by a
friend's Arab stallion, Ibn Rouge. His former owner taught
Paul to ride, handle, shoe and love horses.
When the former owner of "Boss" (Ibn Rouge) needed to sell him,
Paul bought him and plans were made to enlarge and become a breeding
farm. Two years later, "Boss" died, and left the farm with
no clear direction.
The only mare bred this year is Gotcha Pop Pop. She is a T.B.
bred to Mr. Wizard, who produced the other 2 crosses who are so
spectacular.
We have 3 fillies this year from matching our mares with stallions
to produce sport type horses.Amethyst, since names Aolfe, which
is Celtic for Warrior Princess, is going well under saddle. Sassy
is ready at any time to be under saddle, and Sera, who is very petite,
and full Arab, is waiting for Winter.
Forever Faithful now belongs to Michael Pentz, a neighboor, and
has a great realtionship with him. I wish I had a dozen horses with
her personality and potential. TaTicToc now belongs to a young girl
who is continuing his dressage career.
Autumn went to a family who needed a good trail horse, and I miss
her still.
TaTicToc now belongs to a young girl who is continuing his dressage
career.
TaTonikas, out of Ibn Rouge, is still on the farm but owned by
Melinda Baker. Forever Faithful's filly is his 1/2 sister by a Connamera
Stallion and is going nicely under saddle.
Feel free to come visit.
